About the club

Southampton University Lifesaving Club has been established for a number of years and has been growing in strength and numbers year on year. We are open to all levels of skill, ability and experience so feel free to come along and have a go!
The club has two main aspects of awards/skills and competitions.

Awards/Skills

Members of the club have the opportunity to train with us and learn invaluable lifesaving skills. Training is split into dry and wet training where members can learn first aid and rescue skills.

Competitions

Competition is the most interesting and exciting way to put all of the skills learnt at training into good practice. Split into incidents and speeds lifesaving, it gives everyone an equal chance, making sure it's not all just about being the quickest!
